I'd like to think that Matsujun is half the reason why I'm an Arashi fan today (the other half is Aiba but that's a different story).
The very first time I saw him was in episode 6 of Hana Yori Dango returns. At first I thought he was ugly but after watching the story from the start, my opinion of him had a 360 degree change. I fell in love with him and I'm proud to say I've been a Matsujun fan since 2007.
Come 2009, I decided to rewatch the whole HanaDan series, fell in love with Mao & Jun all over again, which lead me to seek out subbed videos of the two of them. And that's when I was introduced to Arashi.
So to Matsujun..
I know you won't be reading this ever.. but I just want to thank you for "introducing" me to Arashi.
A lot of people might not like him. He's too skinny, he's too feminine, he's ugly... and the list goes on. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I don't hold it against them. But I think their wrong.. ^^
1. Matsujun has gained some muscles in the past year.
2. Because of that, he's looking more manlier than ever.
3. HE'S HOT. Enough said.
I'm more vocal about my adoration towards Aiba but I do love Matsujun the same way. I don't know him as a person but from what others say about him, he seem like a genuinely nice guy. He may act all DoS but deep inside, he cares... and I love him for that.

Ohno SatoshiMatsujun looks cool at first glance, but
you're gentle, someone who's attentive to even the smallest details. If our days off match up, I'll take Matsujun to a park and play badminton. Then, I want to see your "What a paaain" look of annoyance. But one way or other, it seems like you'd smile at me instead. That's the type of guy he is, Matsujun.
Sakurai ShoA man who's
able to pay attention to even the smallest things. But, he might also have a part of him that does things at his own pace. He also does behind-the-scenes work for things like our concert performances. I think that's also another good point about him.
Aiba MasakiI'll never forget, Matsujun took my place when I couldn't go to work due to my poor physical health. And that was a job that took place really early too... That one incident is something that I'm truly thankful for even now!
You're someone who's able to pay attention to everything around you, and that hasn't changed since long ago.
Ninomiya KazunariHe has gotten stronger at everything over the past 10 years, but his kindness never changed.
He was very gentle back then, but he has only gotten kinder with the years. Jun is really kind, and not like the usual simple kindness from people.
Everyone in Arashi knows the true Matsujun and I'm glad we were able to see a glimpse of the real him through this magazine translation.
Matsujun, happy happy birthday. You probably have a lot of the things you want so here's hoping you continue getting it. Good luck on the upcoming concerts and I hope you don't stress out too much because of that. XD I hope that you have an awesome birthday today with your family & friends.
You make a lot of us happy just by seeing or hearing you so I wish that one day, you find someone who will make you 10x happier than what you make us feel. When that time comes, I'll still be supporting you 100%. Thanks for inspiration and the enjoyment you and Arashi give me and all the other fans out there. I hope Arashi continues on for 10, 20 more years. :)
